I have been looking at a lot of abstract images recently and find shadows particularly interesting. I like the way girls face is divided by the harsh lines of the blinds.
reaching towards spellbinding with these. i really like that you include the blinds/window in the scene with the shadow on her face, i feel that gives this more context and completeness. the focal point and great warping help us travel into the scene, and inhabit the idea of that soul for a while. i am impressed with your vision for a lot of these, and im glad you didnt throw things off by trying to get her iris to be the point of absolute sharpness.
@ubiquitybutsomewhatdownsized Thank you very much for your wonderful feedback. Focussing was an issue in the glare and she did very well to keep her eyes open. I am lucky as she is very patient and (in my bias opinion) very photogenic.
