get some film in there ... please x
December 10th, 2014
@ingrid2101 There is film in. I am in the process of getting some developer, fix and wash. Hopefully I will get the chance to start developing in the next week or so. Do you have any advice?

just have fun, I have a lubitel with a half roll that I need to finish too. I'm assuming you have developed film before? I still write down abbreviated instructions before - especially with b&w as the times vary so much . I dind it a bit like cooking a stir fry you need everything prepared and set out, nothing more irritating than walking around with a very unyieldy length of wet film looking for the hanging clips. :D

@ingrid2101 The last time I developed film was 20 years ago. I have most things and have watched some things on you tube. I find it a little ironic that I intend to make the negatives digital which then seems to make the whole process redundant. I am having a crisis of confidence after shelling out more money on my hobby. Thank you for your insight.

the first one is the expensive one! The next few are more or less free as you've paid for the equipment and chems. Pinhole camera next ? ;)
December 10th, 2014
@ingrid2101 I have a Yashica D heading my way for Christmas (the lubitel was a giddy indulgence). I have a home made pinhole camera but it has colour film in it that needs liberating. I also have a host of digital lenses for the lensbaby which I am not using enough (I am too precious and constantly trying to take worthy images). I have ordered some 120mm film from ebay but b/w 35mm is proving a little costly at the moment.....baby steps.

Wonderful, I just love old camera's :) fav

Love it - the colour is very easy to develop. different kit but one temp and one time . I actually find colour easier now and that's at the kitchen sink

@ingrid2101 I have to see how I go with b&w - the boss does not know what she has let herself in for with me and chemicals. From what I remember developing is not that difficult, just time consuming and as you mentioned preparation is important.
