Just experiment - I would not use my film camera to try panning. Film is too precious and the instant feedback from digital would help.

@spanner Since I am lab developing I can only use C 41 so Fuji Acros for BW. Have never used Shanghai. Will try the Ilford after I empty my refrigerator!
