These are two of my four medieval swords. I bought them last year during a medieval festival in Ferrara.
They are suited for combat and for this reason the material is a special flexible steel.
My wife and I are studying medieval fencing and other types of historical combat. It's both fun and fascinating. We started this only a few months ago but we are already fighting for real. And the most important thing is... we are still alive!
For this shot I tried a different use of the light using both the flash and a back light. This is an experiment I did to learn and I will do it again.
