TV viewing delight

Now I have not been much of a fan of Opening Ceremonies in the past, but the television presentation of the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony in Birmingham was tremendous. There were aspects that were especially created for the TV audience, that made us feel that we were more than folk watching what was happening in the Alexander Stadium. Here is a scene from early on in the presentation. This scene is highlighting the importance of canals to the history of Birmingham.
