I am down in Tauton in Somerset for the first day of the cricket season with my colleagues. The cricket coverage and some period working on the golf for Sky Sports will take up most of the next 5 months.
The first match starts on Thursday, and today and tomorrow are used to rig and set-up. I didn't have much time to grab a shot during the day, but I thought a nice wide photo of the pitch, showing one of the local churches and the gorgeous, green grass might just imply a feeling of summer.
@gailmmeek Thank you. Unfortunately I think it's due to get colder in the week but hopefully the summer will be good in general so much better for nice scenes such as this!
Gorgeous - all it needs now is the temps to rise a bit. You'll be gratified to know that my daughter will be glued to you - but only if the IPL isn't on!
