This was taken with very little time to spare while making my way on the golf course from one camera position to the next. This bridge links the 6th green to the path up to the 7th tee at the very beautiful and superbly designed Abu Dhabi golf course where I am working this week. And it's the route I have to use in my golf boggy to get to my next camera position each day. As I write this I have just got back from a lovely meal in my hotel to celebrate a colleagues birthday, which I knew was going to prevent me going out this evening to grab a shot somewhere.
I am lucky to have got this because the battery I had in the camera ran out after about 10 shots. This was the first one I took and I like it more than the others.
I'll try more commenting in the next couple of days, but I am up at 0400 for an unexpected early start after delayed play the last two days, so I must go to bed!
3 good things:
1 - An early run this morning despite the fact that my legs were stiff after the run two days before (it's always worth the effort :)
2 - Lovely day working at the golf course with some gorgeous weather
3 - A nice birthday meal in the hotel for a freelance colleague, and the surprise birthday cake I had organised for him. It was chocolate and it was GOOD ;)
A bit more running to work the cake off then Steve! I hope it's not too hot there at the moment, it was 48deg when we were there one July...the heat was just overpowering! Looks a beautiful golf course as you would expect...all nice & green too!
We've been watching the golf on tv, my husband watches any sport that involves a ball, but does actually play golf, so that is his first love! Fabulous pov, sky and leading lines.
@happypat Always trying to run the cake off :)
I can imagine the heat and wouldn't like it that hot. 30 degrees would be good but even then that's hot enough!
@jackie8 Thank you Jackie. Glad he;s watching....hope he's enjoying Qatar Masters and will watch the Dubai competition next week. That's always a good one :)
