Day 031, Year 4 - Dubai, Day One

So the final week of my three working away in the Middle East and it's back to Dubai once again. After an early start for the flight from Doha, we arrived here around lunchtime and once I got my trip to the laundrette over with I headed out in a taxi to find a photo location.

I initially wanted a long range skyline shot but the location is only open on Friday and Saturday (the UAE weekend) so I headed to another place I had seen on Google in the Business Bay area to get a shot of the Burj Khalifa tower as seen in the middle of the frame.

I love this building; it's pretty, it's massive and it's a feat of design and engineering.

Thank you all very much for the comments recently...I really appreciate it, especially given how slow the end of last year was in terms of uploads. I must fill in the rest of 2015....!
