Up before the sun this morning and took a walk in the dark through the grave yard without seeing a living soul (or a dead one). When I reached the field I have discovered, I was not disappointed as with the sunrise, came the mad April hares playing chase.
What a wonderfully golden scene you happened on to and captured so nicely. It turns out that there's a wild rabbit nest inside the fenced vegetable garden! Maybe there will be baby bunnies in my future photo app.
@helenhall these would have been 30 to 40 yards away Helen but a couple came to probably 10 yards away and one almost ran over my foot while I was concentrating on the chasers
@markp -- it's a dilemma! For now, it's too cold anyway. We still have another freeze forecast. But toward the end of May, people typically begin planting their garden. Because I have no clue what to do., I was planning on hiring someone to plant one so all I'd have to do is maintain it? But the person I spoke to said it would be best to wait until the rabbits had cleared out.
@markp -- very sadly (from a photo opp perspective) the rabbit abandoned its nest so there are no baby bunnies to photograph. But this does mean that when the weather gets warmer I might have to learn how to plant a garden.
