I managed to get out for a bit today as I was not feeling too bad and the weather was decent for a change.
I took a trip to Woburn Deer Park and there were lots about.
There is a notice up that says not to get close to the Red Deer as it's rutting season and they can be aggressive so I was a bit nervous when while trying to get a shot of them rutting, I looked over my shoulder and this magnificent beast was coming up from behind me. I thought this could be interesting but I needn't have worried as it just sat down about twenty metres away and watch me while it munched on the grass.
That's a fantastic photo Steve. Usually they do trips in a wagon very early in the morning for people to photograph the ruts but I suspect that they are not doing that this year due to the close proximity of people in a wagon
