In the Sunday edition of our local newspaper a story inspired me. wondering if the millennials still bother to play a classic board game.
"Gone are the days when stately Trivial Pursuit was the standard recipe for family fun; highly interactive, widely social games now dominate the market." "People are passionate about playing games. There are over 2.1 billion gamers in the world." So says Jonathon Berkowitz of Hasbro gaming. "Board game sales soared some 20% in 2016." this according to the consumer trend and marketing group NPD.
trivia bit -- Monopoly is played by more than 1 billion players in 144 countries according to Hasbro.
The board game pic here is called "Sequence"
I have played while visiting family at home.
