"B" is for Bee (and Bugs)!

Well, I just couldn't say goodbye to our preschool activities yet! We had a bit of a hiatus with travel and family emergencies but came back strong this week with both of my kids' favorite thing...bugs! Art projects included the B bee, classic egg carton caterpillars, butterfly sun catchers, and spoon/bottle top bugs. Learning activities included ladybug math, spider leg math, wiggle worms game, rising ants (raisins) science experiment, marching ant scissor work with math and the "ants go marching" song, and spider web balancing (my son saved all the bugs from the spider's web!). We also have books about nearly every bug we talked about so we read those. We also went on many outdoor adventures where we could see caterpillars, ladybugs, bees, ants, etc. in their natural habitat. We had to fit it all into 4 days since we are going on a trip this weekend to the beach (yay!)
Wow, good for you, Tina! I'm impressed by your preschool activities and your organizational skills. Your kids are lucky.
