We had fun with an Independence Day theme this week. I keep meaning to start a "summer break" from our preschool activities but the kids keep asking for more and I love to do it, so who knows :) This week, we did the flag U, fireworks out of cupcake papers, "indoor sparklers" with paper towel tubes, and made our own star garland. We worked on counting and math with the U.S. flag, did a 4th of July scavenger hunt, math with stars and stickers, and made some festive rice crispy treats.
