V is for Vulture

Bird week this week. Crafts included the owls, the V vulture, nests using paper grocery bags, plastic eggs, yarn, pipe cleaners and poms, and the bird in the nest. We also did a lesson on owls, some phonics work, made Cheerio bird feeders, and worked on motor skills with pipe cleaner "worms" putting them in a nest with a clothes pin. The kids had a lot of fun "eating like a bird" with "worms", berries, seeds, "fish", and dried fruit with the kitchen tongs as the beak. We also enjoyed borrowing Daddy's binoculars to go bird watching. We are just about through the whole alphabet!
So many fun activities! My favorite pic is top left - bird watching. Love those little rain boots she is wearing. So cute!

What a nicely put-together collage. Looks like they're having fun! I particularly like the bottom left shot of your little girl looking through binoculars

@egad Haha, thanks! I have just as much fun as the kids do, even if it is a lot of work :)
