Yellow Grace

Heading away today to Michigan today so throwing in a filler shot from last spring. This vase of yellow tulips is one of my favourite photos. I entered it in a local contest held every year in a closeby community in memory of a young girl who died in a car accident. It was my first ever contest and I won. It was an honour because she was a very special girl.

I can see why this photo won — it's beautiful. Such a shame though that the life of a young girl was lost in an accident. That would take take the color out of life for those that love her.
