Chough are very social birds and travel as a family in groups of 6 or more. When I first spotted them in the garden there were seven but as soon as I pointed my lens over the rail of the verandah they were gone. I just caught the last one to leave. Turned out to be the only shot I took yesterday. So here it is for better or worse - White-winged Chough- black, endemic to Australia and so named because in flight the open wing reveals a large white dot on the under side.
