You can see why this fruit is commonly called "star fruit". It is a crisp,firm fruit with a sweet flavour of its own. It is not as crisp as an apple, more the texture of a pear. It makes a tasty addition to a fruit salad, is beautiful with ice cream or simply cut into little stars and eaten one ray at a time. Delicious!!!.
