We arrived home from our bowl's trip to Burgowan to the prettiest scene - our property awash with rain water sparkling in the late afternoon sunlight. We'd receives 35mm of rain in about ten minutes. What was amazing was that it had fallen in a narrow strip about 500m wide and ours was the only property to receive rain. We'd been watching the big towering storm head as we drove home and couldn't believe it had been forming directly above our house.
