What a beautiful morning I've had. I've been soaking up the winter sunshine and reading the adventures of my school day's friend Anne as she and her family circumnavigated the globe in the early 1980s. We too were on the sea at the same time. It is amazing that we completely lost touch but found each other again in June this year. Reading her book made me realize why were such firm friends so long ago. We love, fear, believe, enjoy, wonder about and are intrigued by the same things. I can hear the voices of the Pacific Islanders so clearly as they joyously sing this hymn she so accurately recorded.
