Pink Flowers (Spirea) by vernabeth

Pink Flowers (Spirea)

I brought a little root of it years ago from a little mountain cabin in North Carolina. It blooms from April to frost. The plant or bush is about two feet tall.

I think Juanita has identified it correctly. It seems to be a type of Spirea.

the flower looks like filipendula but not the leaf. my filipendula doesn't bloom that long either, only in the summer. i'll do a little more checking. ;-)
