The sight and sound of school buses bring back so many memories...from my own childhood days to those of my kids. My grandson called yesterday and asked me to come celebrate their last day of summer with him and his sister yesterday. I took some photos but nothing I took turned out yesterday, so I am posting this bus from my walk this morning instead.
Well I do admire your school buses Vicki. We have buses to take the kids to school but in my part of the world anyway the buses just belong to private companies who tender for the job so can be any colour & sometimes quite old. These are very smart!
I love these buses....reminds me of the Fisher Price "Little people" range that my kids used to play with. The buses in Australia dont look nearly as good as these. :)
good shot of the bus! yes school is definitely back in session. My daughter is swamped with homework. Now I remember what it was like. Summer makes you forget for a while.
I have driven a school bus for 6 1/2 years. The first days of school were always the hardest to watch crying parents and grandparents put their little ones one the bus. Sometimes the kids didn't want to go, but those were, thankfully, rare. My bus the last two years was a snub nose like this one.
