It's been four weeks of taking a photo a day. I've really enjoyed the process so far, but I can't believe I've still got another 48 weeks to go. This is going to be hard work!
I spent much of today doing house chores, including mowing my lawn and cleaning both the cars when it was still fairly sunny in the afternoon. It started to rain later on though, which means I timed mowing the lawn well but cleaning the car not so well. You win some, you lose some, I suppose. Because of the weather I wasn't keen on outdoor photography, but I did take a few pictures of yellow lines on the road close to where I parked when I went to the cinema this evening.
It's not the most fascinating of shots, but I like the yellow and black contrast, how worn the lines are and the wet look. Sometimes on this project you have to find interest in the mundane.
I watched a film called 'Greenberg' at the cinema. It stars Ben Stiller in one of his more serious roles, and is about his character going through a mid-life crisis. It had its moments, but I didn't particularly enjoy it. Again, you win some, you lose some, I suppose.
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

love the texture in this & the contrast of yellow & black.
you'll have some tough times in the next 48 weeks of course, but as someone in the last 40 days (I still can't believe it) I can tell you you'll get to the end & be thinking "where did the time go?"
