Another day working from home today. My mate John Wynn popped round for a cuppa, and his attire reminded me of Indiana Jones. He had a worn, camel-coloured leather jacket and brown fedora hat. I just had to take a few snaps of him.
I took a few candid shots using my flash by bouncing the light off the ceiling to retain the high ISO. In post-processing I added a monotone vintage layer in Photoshop and decreased the opacity 50% to retain some of the colour.
I provided a few images I took for Friday's event for its blog. I gained positive appraisals for my shoot, which I'm really pleased about. Instead of including my signature for the photos I added a watermark of the current year, a copyright symbol and my email address. I will be credited, and when they're up on the blog I will post a link. Another development is that I've also agreed to shoot a second gaming event in November...
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.
