I've made 200 days! I did consider marking the milestone in some way for today's photo; however I was working from home today because of the snow, so I thought it would be nice to briefly step outside and shoot some of the local surroundings.
This is but two minutes away from where I live, on a field next to a college. I like the colours of the backdrop to the bare trees; I just wish I took it at a lower ISO as there's more noise than I like in this shot. I used my ultra-wide angle lens to get as much of the trees in as possible, and in post-processing I made the colours more vibrant.
I'm still waiting for my new camera. I ordered a Canon 7D and 15-85mm lens last Friday because of a one-day offer. I was hoping it would come today as I was home, but it has yet to arrive. I just hope the weather won't delay it for longer than necessary...
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

That's really, really pretty! The trees look almost drawn in - like something out of a book. Congrats on 200! It flew by, right? I hit mine last week... so weird :s
Wow, that is one epic wide angle! I love how the perspective makes the trees so tall and formidable, but still beautiful and lightly dusted with snow. The sky is gorgeously coloured too.
Love that shift from cobalt to magenta. (That's just me trying to sound arty when referring to dark blue and pink-purple.) Such a striking image. Nicely done.
7D AND the 15-85mm! You lucky guy! That sounds like an amazing combo, hope you like it when it arrives Vik.
And lucky you on the new camera! Boy are you going to have fun when it arrives. Congrats!
Also congrats on 200!! :-)
You gonna be doin your favourite pic thing?
