Sheesh; that was one heck of a traffic jam! I drove in to town after work to go to the gym, and what is usually a 20 minute journey ended up taking almost an hour - most of that to travel the last mile or so. It was absolutely freezing outside so I didn't fancy taking shots before or after my workout, so I took a few during the jam from the driver's seat.
I was a little annoyed because I just missed the bus that left the smoke behind in the second shot, but I still liked it and thought they worked well as a pair. I suppose this is a diptych to accompany my image from day 202.
The Black Eyed Peas released their new album last week. In my opinion their latest albums aren't a patch on their early work, when they were reminiscent of A Tribe Called Quest and Arrested Development. If you like that kind of music seek out their early albums, because they're excellent. Most people are aware of their recent more commercial songs, so here's the opening track from their first album that shows them at their soulful and youthful best.
