I've done it at last! I went to Rushcliffe Country Park - which neighbours the building I work from - after seeing the birth of what I thought would be a glorious golden hour. I wasn't wrong; after watching many gorgeous sunsets out of the window at work for almost four years, I've finally captured one.
In Wednesday's post I mentioned that I watched a wonderful sunset through the windscreen of my car; as I thought, today's similar weather conditions provided a vista akin to yesterday's. I took almost a hundred photos, and you can see the colours get more intense as the time passes. Check out my Flickr page to see a few other photos I took, and you'll notice how the colours change as the sun sets ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/vikdaddy/sets/72157625863065252/).
I wanted to capture a sunset from this country park before I left. I start my new job in just over three weeks, so I'm glad I've ticked this off my list. I have one other place I want to go to before I leave that's a few miles away - I'll reveal it when I shoot it!
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

@wormentude Hey Rach, I always enhance my photos a little, but not much on my landscapes. I made the colours a little more vibrant and changed the white balance to up the temperature of the shot. Not a great deal done here!
I think the sunset was AMAZING most everywhere yesterday. I was physically frustrated that I couldn't get any photos. The people in traffic with me must have thought I was a crazy person -- out came the camera at every red light! I was even hoping for red lights!!
this is really gorgeous. The color spectrum is amazing, and the reflection makes it doubly good. :)
been checking out your photos every now and then and yes... i bow down to you.. i have soo much respect with your works...almost all are done flawlessly... A FAVE! ♥
