Cool shot. I like the way the waves change from three-fold symmetry in the middle to a single expanding ripple at the outside. There's some physics in action there...
@wenbow Haha. I threw "three-fold symmetry" in there...but I'm not sure its actually the right word
I was just wondering if the two sets are caused by different processes (i.e. the outer single ring caused by the drop hitting the water, and the set of three caused by the surface rebounding upwards as you've captured the photo...) or whether the single outer ring is just caused by the sets of three ripples expanding outwards and interacting with each other. Who knows - Like I said, there is certainly some physics in action, but I'm not really sure what it is doing!
@_amyd_ Man, you think too much & you thinking too much is making my head hurt, lol! Understand where you are coming from, thanks, The results of these shots are purely uncontrollable, I think that's why they amuse me, with the way they come out

Either way - it makes for a cool picture!
