The first dinghy race of the year is called The Shiver and today it lived up to its name. For the past 10 years or so we have driven the safety boat and today's was the sunniest I can remember.
There were loads of people out walking along the sea wall enjoying the sunshine. I chose this photograph because it turned out exactly as I wanted it to and the sun glinting of that gull's back just added to my pleasure in this photo.
