I couldn't find an iconic telephone box, this post-box is probably as old as HM's reign it's so faded and I couldn't resist an SC opportunity for Monday's red.

I can't remember whenI last saw a phone box in France. I rather think they all self-destroyed as mobile phones etc. became the order of the day.
Marvelous post-box. Mail boxes as they are called here across the pond, are such a novelty now and of course they are still on the wrong side so one has to stop, park and get out to use the silly thing- not wonder they are disappearing.
