#1 daughter has been in her house for 21 months and TFV ( aka Covid) has prevented visits.
Today we packed the car, and drove the three hour journey in 4.5 hours in mist, drizzle, and traffic jams. Arrived to the Polar Express, bacon butty with a cuppa. And many many HUGS!!!!

I'm so glad you got there safe and sound. My slogan for myself is "don't get in a hurry at Christmastime." It started originally in the check out line at Walmart but really applies to everything this time of year.
