When I decided to do the DofE Diamond award I was unsure what my never done before challenge would be. (Believe it or not I've done abseiling, zip-wiring, parachuting, climbing, running and walking.)
I searched web-sites for inspiration and did surveys and found my issue is (apparently) commitment (who'd have guessed that eh!?)
I was inspired by a site to take,and upload, a photo a day for a month being assured that this is not as easy as first appears (hence my extremely long winded 365 name). I also pledged to walk the 50 miles of the Shipwright's way (but not all in one go) and to raise a sum of cash.
The month of photo taking was a challenge, and I'd set myself strict limitations, so I decided to continue and try out a challenge a month and have been fortunate to have some of my offerings shortlisted.
Today my certificate and pin arrived and I couldn't have done it with out my friends, you here on 365 and His support at home.
well, congratulations! it is not at all as easy as it sounds. your challenge was so very challenging, too. good for you! i have never heard of this one before, very interesting. well done and great photos.
