Grow Your Own Gin

I was given coir pots, dehydrated discs of compost, five packets of seeds and instructions. I sowed them this morning and I even wrote on the lolly sticks!

I do not enjoy garndening, I coudn't do what my brother does and post a photo a month of my garden, it's far too embarrassing. However I might keep you posted on the progress of my blue borage and other botanicals; but i'm afraid with my black thumbs they are destined not get past the kitchen windowsill.

Great DoF. Good luck.

Great image! I love you composition - the little horizontal lines lead you to the writing and then the DOF leads you back along the line of pots. And do you actually get gin from this?

It is more difficult to grow plants from seeds than to go out a buy a small pot. Good luck! I like your DOF in this photo.

Nice dof Jackie. Dare I ask how you managed to kill mint?
March 25th, 2019
@30pics4jackiesdiamond If it is I know you will make it spectacular looking
March 25th, 2019
@merrelyn that takes a particular skill and aptitude!!
@grammyn v kind ( if a little deluded)

i think it's easier to just stick a bean or a kernel of corn in a pot of soil or tomato for that matter. i should know, as those were the only things i managed in my home ec class in grade school. we got graded as long as the seeds sprout. blue borage, i don't know what that is. and you killed a mint plant? hmmm....interesting!
