Visit to this lovely house for the flower festival. We didnt see the displays at their best, they were due to be 'refreshed' after lunch. They looked stunning to my uneducaated eye (but then I am a plonker. I unwrap a bouquet/bunch and plonk blooms in a vase in the same shape as they came out of the wrapping!)
Mr scarecrow is still missing his dog and is looking very, very,very sad.
Well not exactly 'plonked' but I like flowers to look natural, not so artificially arranged!!! Plonked can of course be OK, depends how they come out of the wrapping paper....
It must be wonderful to see each one of these things that you have taken such fabulous photos of individually but I am so glad you put them in this collage so we could at least see all of them. I seem to remember the scarecrow from last year.
@randystreat so much easier @wendyfrost it was all alone @robz it is lovely @grammyn it's against the law to visit and not post a photo (just ask @quietpurplehaze !!) @onewing oh we did!! @narayani they were beautiful @anniesue good old NT volunteers!! @pcoulson thank you Peter, didn't use the duds!! @summerfield the pond was a bit scummy but still did a good reflection @quietpurplehaze some of them were so architectural and clever. Dining table one a tad high for guests to see opposite guests though!!!
People often think something isn't so good when I think it is amazing! We saw the Fall leaves in Vermont and people told us we had missed it.....but we were still blown away by the diversity of colour, so we didn't care!

Me, too! We were there this week. I prefer flowers informally arranged! Fab scenes in your collage!
@wakelys such skilled arrangers
@joysabin us plonkers need to stick together
