Set into the wall of The British Engineerium in Hove, above a white granite water fountain and partially hidden by ivy, is found the following polite admonition: “Commit No Nuisance”
In essence, this is a discreet Victorian warning against performing improper acts in public. Or in other words: “Please do not p*** against the wall”.

I had no idea about the sign! How did you know?
I went to Hove to take a picture of the Engineerium (another day) and saw the water fountain which I thought would make a better photo. That's when I found the sign above it hidden amongst the foliage! Who knew? I had to move back some of the ivy to take the shot :)

Some of the pictures are things I knew about but a lot is because I am taking a lot more notice of what is around me as well as actively looking for interesting things to snap. Sometimes, like here, it is just pure luck :)
