In an attempt to avoid the match day crowds that descended on Brighton today, my chosen route home from the station went via as many back streets and alleyways as posssible - where I came across this magnificent creature :)

He was fixated on something on the wall opposite....a bug?...a spider?
I couldn't see anything.
He looks pretty fierce and liable to take your arm off with very little provocation. But he didn't seem to mind when I gave his ears a ruffle :)
@madeinnl
He is clearly well cared for by someone - maybe one of the homes that backs on to the alley. He was sat in the alleyway like he owned it!
It was very narrow and he would not move to make room for people to pass :)

I think the main message is: "Get out of my alley!"
:)
After a day spent taking photos in the nearby town of Lewes, I came across this cat in Brighton, on the way home. This was the last shot of the day and the one I liked the best.
I very much appreciate all the nice comments and favs. It ended up on TP and PP so thanks very much :)
Thanks :)
