A giant model of the moon suspended over Queen’s Park pond as part of the Brighton Festival. The installation is a fusion of lunar imagery, moonlight and surround sound composition.
The 7m wide sphere’s official name is Museum of the Moon by Luke Jerram, and features highly detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface, each centimetre of the internally-lit sphere representing 5km of the moon’s surface.
(Sadly, I wasn't around to see it after dark when it is illuminated)
This is a tremendous half & half capture - and i would love to actually see this! I didn't realise I wasn't following you either - so a fav and a follow :)
