For the present, we're coming to the end of our remodel, and Ken's taken to assisting Rick, our wonderful contractor and builder. While in college, Ken spent summers doing construction, so I think he's enjoying getting to dabble in all this. The back deck has be fully removed...and that wall, too...new windows are installed, and soon, a lovely new outdoor seating area...I can hardly wait!
I suppose that by the time it's completed, it'll be too cool to sit outside with morning coffee...but there's always next year...
@aglennc We made decisions together...I had some definite ideas and requests. Rick is so good at what he does, he made some suggestions we went with and they're perfect...he truly is an artist...he's very modest about that, but he is!
Can't wait to see the end results. I'll have to take a picture in the morning of the rubble and we can compare construction notes. Just keep thinking of how much you'll love it when it's done.
