There's a happy song (of yesteryear) called, "Look on the Sunny Side", and that sums up how I spend my days at present! Without the chance to get out and get a variety of new photos, I have the time (I was wishing for) to play with post editing and, in this case, ETSOOI! I love that I can use some old letters I photographed to have on hand for this, and lots of texture stuff. This is the beach in Mexico where I spent some time. http://365project.org/Weezilou/365/2015-05-02 Of a couple of versions, I think I liked this best (when I compared the two). Ken said he liked the other as he's not partial to sepia tones... Well, what the heck...let me post both as I have little else to offer!
An up date...I can tell that I'm on the mend. It may be awhile yet, but I'm moving forward! Thanks for the visits, prayers and thoughtful words you've sent me. It's been wonderful!
This one has a more vintage feel to it. I like them both, glad you decided to share them. I have been wondering how your recovery is going so I'm pleased to hear that you are on the mend albeit slowly!
To choose between two beautiful ones is very dangerous. Remember the reason for the Troy war.
Glad to read you improve more and more to the better. Take care.
oh, look at you doing some über excellent processing. i wouldn't know how to do this even if my life depended on it. have you now recovered from your fall? i hope you are.
@summerfield haha...thanks! Let's say I kept adding "stuff" until I could hardly see where I began! Then I said, "Let's go with it!" I really was having a lot of fun!
I really like this! The original picture is so nicely composed and then with the texturing, toning and filters, it takes on a very creative, arty feel. Nicely done, Louise.
Glad to read you improve more and more to the better. Take care.
So good to here you're on the mend - and making the most of your "down time"!
