At last I've caught up to posting photos from my Chicago visit with our new friends from across the country, England and Germany! Not being Chicago locals, but having rented a car, we spent a fair amount of time trying to find the place we were to meet. Taffy's knowledge of navigating "Lower Wacker" (think tunnel) and our complete lack of knowledge had us wondering if we'd ever meet this group! No more details than that, but what a delight it was to be there and to meet one another at last!
I wonder if we were all wondering who might be the first to take out a camera and start recording our gathering...I decided to cut to the chase! Unfortunately it was too late to picture Sarah and Donna on this evening, but jet lag had done them in!

@judithdeacon Say it again, Judith! 365 *IS* the greatest community! I know of no other sort of "social media" like it where we come together with one interest and passion we can share and understand! And what lovely friendships we can make along the way!

@rosiekerr thanks! 40+ photos each day and I can select *4*...yah, right! This photo was taken at the Raddison when Taffy and I met the UK gals the first evening. I think I have my pick for the evening at Taffy's. This is a somewhat slo-o-o-ow process...
What a wonderful start to the Holiday. I was the last to arrive in Chicago as my plane,was delayed. Poring rain and our first meet up in the cocktail bar of the Hancock cancelled! What a fabulous surprise that Taffy changed the plans and you all came out in the rain to the Raddisdon where Rosie and I were staying. Such a warm welcome from you our US hosts and yes we already seemed to know each other! Thank you 365 for bringing us all together!
@aglennc Truly, Anita! You can easily see we had a marvelous time, and hope to keep in touch for a long time to come! I suspect there'd be another meetup if several people said they'd be there!
