A little break from my snakes and frogs! When I said we "drove out into the jungle", this is the type of road I was writing about! "Puerto Jiminez" the area we stayed was pretty remote and rural, and then we left that to "drive into the countryside"! And so here we passed a man with his horses where I engaged in a little "Street Photography". On closer inspection, he's tidily dressed and not even sweating profusely...more then one could have said of me!
Just a glimpse of local life passing beneath the sloth and monkeys...
A fabulous shot which does not seem to bother the rider at all. At least you would have gotten a ride in case the car broke down. We have many roads like these in SA.
@365karly1 I'm still wondering that as well! I have a close-up of the bags, and the items are the size and shape of large Vidalia onions! I don't, however, think I saw anything like that growing around there! Anyone's guess!
Great candid capture! He does look cool doesn’t he. Now why is it some people stay looking cool and some of us ( definitely me) look like a tap is running on a very red face! This is me now in the UK! Not a good look! Fav for your lovely capture!
Awesome shot!! Costa Rica! Oh my! My brother was in the Peace Corp there in the late 60s. My parents and I flew down and spent three weeks + with him, toured with him -- both coasts -- Even spent three days on a small private island off the east coast. (My Dad knew the owners parents here in soCal.) Love the country. John and I have been back once since, on our own, years later.
I've sort of "dropped out" of 365, at least for awhile. Too many things here at home, I've lost my enthusiasm, etc. Hope to get back at it, maybe in the future. I'll miss it, yes, but...... Anyway my email -- anitacampbell@cox.net
