All my life I've wanted to live in a very old home, but I never imagined it would be purple! The color may seem quirky to some, and it wouldn't fit in everywhere, but it fits into this colorful town and it suits me just fine!
Beautiful! I'd love to live in an older home someday also - our house is one of the oldest in the neighborhood but still quite young to my New England standards - it was built in the 1988 which to me makes it a baby, but in our area it was one of the first houses built.
After living in SF for many years I have no issues with crazy colored houses (not that I did before but never really saw any in the white house black shutter world of NE) I think your house looks very inviting!
@ldpaul The bright morning sun may have affected the photo color somewhat, but Ken looked up the names of the colors, and they're "Spring Purple" with trim in white and "Grape Gum" (who thinks up a name like that?!)
