"Autumn" at the Waverly Inn circa 1866

The inn where we stayed in Halifax was a home originally owned by two sisters. They enlarged it in 1876 and it's operated as an inn ever since. I love beautiful old buildings like this! This statue is a pair with "Spring" at the top of the stairs, but the man at the registration desk says that no one knows where "Summer" and "Winter" are. We spoke at length and he showed me some of the other rooms that were already made up this morning. If you come to Halifax and have the time to stay over, this spot comes highly recommended by Ken and me!
Looks like a great spot. A lot of charm.

How elegant. Love the perspective and the way you were able to include the graceful staircase.
