We arrived at our cottage in the Magdalen Islands ( http://www.tourismeilesdelamadeleine.com/magdalen-islands/atrim-ang-696-home.cfm) after sunset, so we'd have to wait for morning for a good view...we thought! We stepped out on our deck at 9 and had a view to the moon rising over the ocean. With only scattered homes, there was little-to-no ambient light, and the stars were amazing, too! Add to that the sound of the surf outside our door and it was the perfect reward for a long day of travel to arrive here!
