OK...this is an experiment... Though I let the grandsons put gel stickers on the door at Christmas, (and they're still there), a dove flew smack into the glass and left a perfect "dust impression" with even details of the feathers. His left wing is clearly up, and the right wing was at a 45 degree angle. The only chance I had of photographing this was to have Ken hold black fabric against the door, letting in some light at the upper right. Now that I've saved it all in a photo, i's time to wash the window again...and to hope the dove is now none the worse off for the wrong turn!
I've never suggested anyone enlarge my picture before, but you really CAN make out his face that way!
@luvmynynix Thanks, Laurie...we had a wonderful time! We were "spoiled" & I can't wait to set sail again! ...It's going to take some time to sort through all the photos, much less post a few!
@chard I just received an email...Ken had ordered it for my Nook! I'm in business...just need to find some spare time to sit and read! (I gave up watching television last summer...too many other choices in life!) Thanks for the book notification...I didn't ask, but hope you liked it!
@chard That's the sort of novel Ken and I like most. Also, Ken said this was written recently by an author in Mahone Bay...just about 5 miles from us in L'burg... Thanks again for letting us know.
@Weezilou Oooh, I want to see that! I saw the coming attractions at a little nearby movie theater but never saw an ad for it actually playing. I wonder if it has come and gone. I'm sure you will love it.
