This is the day I began with an altered photo of Bodhi on the beach in Hawaii...
As we walked to the car, bags in hand, Ken noted the snow flurries and, for the novelty of it (to us Californians!) I photographed my sweater sleeve with a couple of flakes... By the time we were at the airport, my photos capturing blowing snow looking like images covered in cobwebs! And then it came to this...
...they're deicing the planes...and I have to wonder what a task that must be in a really serious snowfall!
...we're back in California...unpacking from Chicago...repacking to take the train up the coast on Thursday morning...Easter...1st birthday for Dylan and more babysitting...
Wow -- this is a GREAT de-icing image! American Airlines should use it in their advertisements! I like how you captured the old logo / new logo contrast as well. Do you fly AA as much as I do? (nearly a four million miler)
So seriously, were you in Chicago when all this de-icing was taking place? Yes, we have s-n-o-w AGAIN!
@jyokota What a nice reply! Yes, we left Chicago last night after a sunny/warm week-long visit! Ken "lived" on AA during his business years, so, yes, Platinum Plus and it's now all we fly! I really enjoy the snow shots, but much prefer warm weather!
Louise, are you American Airlines "Chamber of Commerce"? What a great photo of something we don't often see, but some of us have experienced. You definitely need to send this to the AA Advertising Department...... Incredible capture. (Welcome home to warmth!!)
Ooh, that's a little different shot than the shiny plane you left on. Glad you made it home safely - and just in time! Our temps are dropping as I speak and I am NOT thrilled! :)
