Purple Mountain's Majesty by Weezilou

Purple Mountain's Majesty

Taken from the same spot where I photographed the setting sun to the left. I can see this view from my daughter's front yard as the haze begins to soften the mountains in the late afternoon and they continue to change color until dusk. And at this time of evening, the air begins to fill with the sound of peeping frogs. I turned on the video to pan the landscape and they're quite audible. (I'm so glad I'm not a student, inside, doing homework!)
I love the different layers of the landscape!

@anazad511 Not a brown mountain in sight! She can't contest me now! (She's really much more insightful than that...it's just a family joke after all these years!)

It sure does evoke a sense of calm. I like the soft look of the mountainous backdrop

That is just gorgeous! I know I wouldn't be getting a lot done if I lived there. Never mind the peepers, I'd just be sitting and staring! ;)

Okay Louise, this looks like one of the panels of my pantone chart with the steps of color from dark to light. Excellent!!
