I probably take more floral photos than anything else, but I seldom post them on 365. I like to use them as greeting cards that I actually send to friends via snail mail! (Call me Old Fashioned...)
Susan Klassen @daily pix asked me to post something along those lines, so here's another from Balboa Island, an HDR to which I applied some sort of art filter (can't recall...) These cabbage roses were stunning! Just recently I believe one of my followers wrote about an amazing cabbage rose named for someone in England I believe. (If it was *you* please remind me where to look for your link again!)
This home owner had it all...gorgeous setting on the water surrounded by a fabulous garden and this amazing bower of roses. It doesn't take much to make some people happy...
Beautiful! The HDR effect is neat, it kind of looks like delicate paper flowers. I take a lot of florals too. You should post more as I can imagine how lovely they are too.
They are wonderful Louise. When I was participating in our local art walk, I had note cards made up as well of various subjects, but the flowers always went first.
