Ashley and John have a favorite beach they'd discovered a couple of years back, and I concur, it couldn't get better than this! We had a long stretch of beach nearly to ourselves up until noon. I think the tide was low when we arrived and we could walk out quite a distance and see fish swimming. We took turns watching the little ones and snorkeling over the coral reef just beyond. In the distance, you can see rain falling, but our morning stayed beautiful.
Shooting RAW and HDR as well as some photo bursts to make little videos to entertain the grand sons, I hit my all-time-high photo total today... I need a rainy day to stay in and do something about that! (We're having a wonderful time!)
This picture could be a poster for Come to Hawaii, and leave all your cares behind!! The colors are gorgeous, it looks peaceful, there is not another soul in sight, and yes, this is paradise!! FAV!!
@panthora Thanks Osia! I sidled over behind this beach chair as I wanted to photo to look as though you could take a seat and put yourself in the photo. Thanks for assuring me that I accomplished my mission! xo
A beach all to yourselves! So gorgeous And you are definitely NOT in southern CA. The beach would be overloaded with sunbathers. (Especially today. It's sunny, warm, and beach weather. FAV
@aglennc This Maui beach...sunny, warm beach weather...tepid ocean...lapping shore... a small miracle we had it almost to ourselves for several hours! Oh...I have A LOT of photos as it was just too too gorgeous!
I haven't had time to comment but I did gather you were having the time of your life!! I chose this one to place my comment on, because as all the others say.....wow, beam me up!! fav!
Prefer sunny mornings than snowy ones.
