When I saw that golden sunlight reflected off the front of my neighbour's west-facing house, I asked Ken to drop everything and go with me to the graveyard! It's the nearest open view to the setting sun, and the light and colours didn't disappoint. In the moment, I wouldn't have expected that this would speak to me as I uploaded my photos, but perhaps it's my homage to those who now lay here and with approaching fall, I'm likely to visit more often.
Too, it brings to mind the irony of those who perished in a field of sunflowers, as it remained in my thoughts after mention by @golftragic and @Cherrill
What impact we have on one another, hands across the world!
haha! 'Ken! take me to the graveyard!' How can a man resist?! I hope we (@golftragic) didn't bring down the mood over your sunflowers. I guess its the power of global reporting that we see these images. This is a beautiful image and a peaceful place for permanent rest.
@annied@cruiser@Cherrill@leananiemand What a small window of sleep people must have when here, scattered across the world, we're all up at the same time! Thank ya'll for the kind words!
Such beautiful light and shadows. I am glad you dragged Ken down there to get this image!! LOL!! So pleased I came back for a second look on my large screen!! Another Fav!
