I picked this image of her because her little paws are a blur! She has her own dining style, gathering and scooping the sunflower seeds, and then shelling them in a virtual blur! If she were a person, this could be one of those awkward moments when I might ask, "Wow! Are you expecting?" and she'd say no, she just eats well at her favorite restaurant!
*****Never done this before, but I have to share what we thought was a very funny story about our daughter, Ashley, today on her birthday. John gave the boys each $10 to buy a gift for their mother and let them make it their choice entirely. She relates that when she got up, the living room had candles lit everywhere and it looked like a seance! In the center was ... a pinata! (Ken and I are laughing hysterically as she tells us this!) She goes on to say there's something rather therapeutic about whacking the crap out of a pinata at 7 AM to find the spilled contents are chocolates and pink dinosaurs! The boys then excitedly want to know where the gift bags are (!) so she gives them baggies and they fill them with their stash!
Happy Birthday, Little Mama! That's the funniest Birthday-Gift-for-Mom I've ever heard of! No massage or mani-pedi could have risen to this level!
I think Miss Posh is stuffing her face with no manners! Lol! Such a greedy little squirrel making sure she gets her stomach full just in case you never put any food out again! I am still laughing about Ashley' s birthday present! What a brilliant idea the boys had - gift for their mum and a bonus of party bags for them! Very clever! Love it and thanks for sharing - you have started my day with a laugh! Fav!
@lynnz ain't it the truth! I figure that my girls don't want many of the dishes I have like this (and I shop antique stores, so they're not even family pieces) so if I set it out, I see it and enjoy it, and it's all the better for being decorated with squirrels and birds!
She's ever so posh, eating from China, oh my! I love the whimsy and fun of this shot. Your daughter has some sweet boys at her house, too much birthday fun! I know they bring you a lot of joy.
Love her name........ She is so cute. Squirrels can no longer get into our back yard, darn it! John rabbit proofed it -- they were making us resod our lawn after being gone for the summer every year - and now the squirrels can get in either...
At 1/20 seconds, the blurred paws certainly are moving at lightning speed! Much like me downing Ho Ho's. Great story about the kids' choice of a present!
@stray_shooter You'd laugh out loud to see her! I haven't seen any of the other squirrels eat like this...gathers 'em up into a tiny pile, scoops a fist-full and goes to town! She's got style! (Oh PLEASE don't mention Ho Ho's just now! Not in the offing for either of us! But one can wish!)
This is soooo adorable! It's perfect with the dainty teacup and plate. Fav! Very cute story from your daughter. Too bad she only gets to whack the
pinata on her birthday. I do that every day as part of my therapy. (Court-ordered, you know).

And I love this little guy - working so hard at eating from the posh china! Lovely sharp shot, he looks so soft and tactile
pinata on her birthday. I do that every day as part of my therapy. (Court-ordered, you know).
